Isn’t it a brilliant country, ours?

  • A 90-member cabinet including people who have legal battles still pending in court about corruption while serving in previous governments.
  • Ministers who have made threats to isolate Kikuyus in central province much like Lesotho is by South Africa.
  • Ministers who have been directly involved in the orgy of violence that we witnessed in the last 4 months.
  • Ministers who have been known to sleep in parliament in broad daylight and also threaten some ethnic groups to lie low like envelopes
  • A president with a loony power-mad wife and a prime minister with an ego the size of the moon.
  • A cabinet payroll that mocks the daily struggles of the mwananchi to get the basics buy just its sheer size and the fact that these fat cats do not pay any taxes.
  • No provisions for accountability, performance expectation or good governance from this lot. Same old faces recycled and recycled.

The worst part of this is that we brought this on ourselves by voting with our stomachs, our tribes and without seeing the bigger picture. Nothing good will come out of this.
